General Practitioners are the gateway to your ongoing healthcare. They look after everyday concerns, carry out routine check-ups, issue prescriptions, and arrange referrals when specialist input is needed. Our GPs provide attentive, family-friendly care that adapts to your individual circumstances.

General Practice

Bulk-Billing Patients

If you hold a valid Medicare card, all standard General Practice and Nurse practitioner services covered by Medicare are billed directly to Medicare, and you will not pay any gap fee.

The only exception is Adult ADHD assessment appointments, which now have a gap fee to cover the extra time and clinical work involved in these assessments. Please call our reception team on 0733667970 to discuss the current fees and any Medicare rebates that may apply.

Private Patients (No Medicare Card)

Patients who don’t have a valid Medicare card are billed as private patients. The fees listed in the table below apply to each appointment type and full payment is required on the day of the consultation.

Some procedures may attract a small treatment-room fee or an additional charge for disposable equipment. You will always be advised of any extra costs before your appointment.

For Specialist consultation, IV infusions, allied-health treatments and complementary medicine services, attract private fees based on appointment length and complexity. Concessions

Automatic pension-card discounts are not offered. In genuine hardship, reduced fees may be discussed with your practitioner before the appointment.

Rebates

Medicare rebates are submitted on the spot through Medicare Online, and Medicare usually deposits the rebate into your nominated bank account within 48 hours. Allied-health visits can receive on-the-spot private-health rebates through HICAPS, depending on your level of cover.

Payment options

We accept EFTPOS, all major credit cards and cash. If you have any questions about fees or rebates, our reception team will be happy to assist you.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We respect your time and kindly ask that you respect our practitioners’ time as well. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment so we can offer the time to another patient.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50 % of the scheduled service fee applies.

Less than 3 hours’ notice or no-show: 100 % of the scheduled service fee applies.

GP appointments: Cancellations within 4 hours may attract a $50 fee.

We understand emergencies can happen. If exceptional circumstances arise, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll review the situation individually.
