Biography
Dr Sara Golvandani is an experienced General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), with over eight years of experience practising in Australia. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centred care to people of all ages.
Dr Sara has a special interest in Women’s Health and General Medicine. She provides comprehensive GP care, including chronic disease management, preventive health, family medicine, and minor procedures. She has extensive experience in Implanon insertion and removal, IUD insertion and management, cervical screening, antenatal and postnatal care, perimenopause and menopause management, Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP), ADHD assessments, and gender-affirming hormone therapy.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Sara is an accredited GP Supervisor involved in training and mentoring future General Practitioners. She is also a certified IUD Insertion Supervisor through Sexual Health Victoria, where she mentors GPs in long-acting reversible contraception procedures. She has also contributed to medical education as a mentor with the University of Queensland.
Dr Sara values building long-term relationships with her patients and believes in providing personalised, respectful care that supports individuals and families through every stage of life. She welcomes new patients and consults under Telos Medical Centre’s mixed billing model.
