Biography
Dr. Anchita Karmakar, our principal GP at Vibe, is a locally trained medical graduate from Bond University with extensive experience in holistic and population health. As a Rural Generalist (FACRRM), she has specialist interests in Aged Care, Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Palliative Care, and Rehabilitation. Currently serving as the Clinical Director of Metro North CKW Service Line, Dr. Karmakar is available for General Practice appointments, Neurodevelopmental Assessments, Travel Medicine consultations, and comprehensive health assessments and management.
With a strong background in both General Practice and eastern medicine, Dr. Karmakar takes a collaborative approach to health optimization, working closely with her colleagues in allied, complementary, and integrative health at Vibe. Her unique qualifications as both a doctor and a lawyer underscore her dedication to health equity and access. To support this commitment, all her appointments are bulk billed, ensuring accessible care for everyone in our community.
