Starting Solids Workshop
Vibe Natural Health has some of the most
Tiny Tummies : Exploring The First Foods
Do you feel stressed by the idea of introducing solids? Not sure about baby lead weaning or purees? Just want to ask some questions? This workshop is for you!
Starting solids is an exciting time in your journey as a parent. The first 1000 days, from
conception to a child’s second birthday, are a critical period for growth and development. During this time, nutrition lays the foundation for future health, influencing physical and cognitive development, immune function, and eating
behaviours. Proper nutrition during these formative years can help prevent chronic
conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases later in life. It’s an opportunity to instil healthy eating patterns and behaviours that your child will carry into adulthood.
Introduction of Solids
The introduction of solids is not just about feeding; it’s about setting the stage for a lifetime of healthy eating and wellbeing.
This workshop will cover:
- Signs of readiness to start introducing solids
- Essential nutrients for early childhood and how to introduce them to your child
- Navigating milk feeds (boob/bottle) alongside solids
- How to introduce allergens
- Baby-led weaning Vs. purees
- Understanding pre-packaged baby food
- Tips for preventing fussy eating + plenty of time to ask questions!
